The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging, Body Imaging Division at the University of Virginia, seeks five candidates for tenure-ineligible Clinical Instructor/Fellow positions in Abdominal Imaging for a July 1, 2023 start date. This one-year post-graduate fellowship program provides extensive training in all aspects of abdominal imaging with a focus on image-guided procedures (ultrasound and CT) and abdominopelvic MRI. Clinical instructors will learn to perform a variety of procedures independently, including soft tissue and lung biopsies, abscess drainages, thoracenteses and paracenteses, thyroid nodule biopsies and fluoroscopically-guided GI tract interventions. This unique training opportunity is held in one of the premier academic communities in the country with a robust data infrastructure to engage in clinical research if desired.
