Community College is accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty of Economics (day, evening and weekend) positions. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. Currently, there is a need for adjuncts for classes during weekdays. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until needed positions are filled.

Compensation and Benefits:
Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty: The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. The position is part time and as such is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's in Economics or a related discipline area preferred but a Master's in an academic field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Economics will be considered.
  • Must have availability to teach on campus, in person at the Fauquier Campus located in Warrenton, Virginia.

Additional Considerations:

  • Teaching experience at post-secondary level preferred.
