Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry is seeking applicants for an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Periodontics. This faculty position will include teaching responsibilities in the predoctoral periodontal clinics and completion of training activities related to faculty calibration and university compliance.
Faculty members are expected to teach in an integrated curriculum across traditional departmental lines and in multidisciplinary learning that is informed by interdisciplinary and translational research, teaching, scholarship, and creative expression.
Required Qualifications:
DDS / DMD degree or equivalent
Completion of an Advanced Education Program in Periodontics
Eligible for dental licensure in Virginia
Demonstrated ability to teach dentistry
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as an adjunct faculty member at VCU
