Job Description

Radford University is seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant Director of Admissions to join our team at the Radford University Carilion campus in Roanoke, Virginia. This position plays a vital role in advancing the University's enrollment goals by managing a designated recruitment territory, cultivating meaningful relationships with prospective students and families, and serving as a key ambassador for Radford University and its academic programs.

The Assistant Director will be responsible for the full scope of territory recruitment — from prospect generation and high school outreach to college fairs, community college visits, and yield initiatives. Comfort working autonomously is essential. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and computer skills are required, along with a genuine passion for working with diverse student populations and families.

This position requires the ability to travel both in and out of state in support of recruitment initiatives, as well as the ability to lift or move materials weighing up to 20 pounds.

•Manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
•Strong organizational skills and ability to focus on details to oversee recruitment territory
•Have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism
