Assistant Professor of Geriatric Medicine

The Department of Medicine's Division of General, Geriatric, Palliative, and Hospital Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for Geriatric Medicine. The Assistant Professor, Tenure Ineligible faculty position joins a dynamic and growing academic practice. The selected candidate will develop a clinical practice that includes caring for older adults in ambulatory primary care and consultative clinics. Inpatient responsibilities and opportunities, as well as other geriatric clinical duties, may also be considered. In addition, teaching responsibilities include training fellows, residents, and medical students in both didactic and clinical sessions.

Job candidates for positions must be an MD and board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Board eligibility or certification in Geriatrics is preferred but not required. Leadership and administrative experience are also highly desired.
