The Department of Pathology at the University of Virginia invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Research - non-tenured track. The successful candidate must qualify for an appointment at the rank of an Assistant Professor of Pathology. The successful candidate will have experience in the molecular and mouse based studies of RNA toxicity as it applies to myotonic dystrophy. The candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in the field and have published papers on the topic. The candidate must be able to independently do research as well as write manuscripts and grants related to the topic of RNA toxicity.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Candidates must have a PhD degree or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience
