The Virginia Lottery also licenses and regulates casino gaming and mobile sports betting.
The Virginia Lottery, an independent state agency, is currently seeking an Associate Sales Representative for the Winchester, Purcellville, and Leesburg areas.
The Associate Sales Representative (ASR) Program is a one-year career development program designed specifically for college graduates who aspire to become sales leaders for the Virginia Lottery.

The Associate Sales Representative (ASR) role enables you to advance your career rapidly by providing the training and resources needed to become successful in an industry-leading sales organization. During the first months of the program, ASR’s will expand their sales and business acumen, increase their technical knowledge and develop executive presentation skills, as well as learn about Lottery products. ASRs will have full business ownership of a defined territory. The ASR will learn using a unique variety of on-the- job training techniques which includes a blend of instructor-led and self-paced training.
After successfully completing the program, ASRs will have an opportunity to apply and be promoted into a Sales Representative role where they can continue to grow in a rewarding career.
State vehicle will be provided.
Minimum Qualifications
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Customer service experience
-Excellent technical skills
-Willingness to travel within the training hub for the duration of the program
-A 4-year degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Communications from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience/training preferred
-Must be willing to relocate within the year program to a full-time Sales Representative role, dependent on business need
-Must be comfortable working closely with a mentor in the beginning months of the program
