General Description: Under the supervision of the Auxiliary Services Operations Coordinator, the individual in this position will be responsible for providing operational, administrative, and, at-times, technical support of Auxiliary Services' programs - College Copy & Print program (ACEPrint) and College Printing Services department; food service contract management; vending services; bookstore (& bookstore cafe) operations; and College Sustainability initiatives/programs. Ability to support various marketing, promotional, and communication efforts for department initiatives. This is an entry to mid-level position.
Duties and Tasks:
Operate in-office and on-site at all campus locations & centers to monitor contract requirements, service levels, vendor appearance, and gather campus feedback
Provide short-notice response (both on-campus and via remote services) for campus operations
Replenish/update supplies as needed
Assess food services and availability
Communicate and post promotional information about services and campus operations through campus events, print & digital media, and other channels.
Requires daily/weekly visits to the NOVA campuses and satellite locations to assess campus services and operations
May include other duties as assigned within all Auxiliary and Sustainability programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required KSAs:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with technical and nontechnical personnel.
Ability to work independently to identify service issues, solve problems, and respond to challenging situations across multiple campuses.
Strong organizational and planning skills, research and documentation skills.
Ability to safely move and handle 50 pounds independently.
Knowledge of and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Extensive knowledge of and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in contract administration and/or program management and support , or a combination of experience, education, and/or training.
Some experience providing customer service to managers, users, and/or clients.
Valid and current driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of work experience & education
Experience working in a higher education auxiliary services, enterprise services, or business services environment.
Familiarity with marketing and communication tools and social media applications.
