Job Summary/Basic Functions

The University of Mary Washington has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Building Attendant. In this role, you will perform satisfactory level of housekeeping service in assigned areas through safe work practices while using proper housekeeping techniques, and maintain good working relationships with customers, staff, students, and supervisors.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of housekeeping methods.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to perform all housekeeping tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to use supplies and equipment properly and follow instructions.
  • Ability to left 50lbs or less and stand for extended periods of time.

 

Required Experience:

  • Experience in housekeeping methods.

 

Additional Considerations:

  • Ability to perform housekeeping duties as a team.
