Job Description
The Business Operations and Planning Coordinator provides critical operational, financial, and project management support for Faculty Development at Radford University. This position ensures the efficient and effective administration of business functions and across multiple units, including Faculty Development, the Center for Innovative Teaching and Leaming, and the Highlander Center for Character and Public Impact. The Business Operations and Planning Coordinator plays a key role in office management, client service, budget oversight, events planning, and project coordination.
Required Qualifications
At least three years of experience in administrative operations, office management, or a related area.
Familiarity with university budgeting processes, grant management, and institutional reporting.
Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences with care and empathy; and to work in an office aimed at offering service and support to all constituents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in higher education or community organizations.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and project management tools.
