Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. The Career Coach will provided critical support for students at Goochland High School ACA program (over 300 students) and traditional dual enrollment students (approximately 150 students). Additionally, this position recruits and provides enrollment assistance for prospective students at Goochland High School

• Working knowledge of academic requirements for high school graduation, community college enrollment;
• ACA curriculum and local and regional career opportunities is required.
• The ACA career coach must utilize computer software to maintain records, input data, and produce written reports.
• Demonstrated ability to provide post-secondary education academic and career information, mentoring, coordinate student activities and communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Must produce documentation of activities and possess the ability to develop positive working relationships with students, parents, secondary school faculty, secondary school staff, college faculty, college staff, secondary and post-secondary educational institutions and the general public.
