The College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) seeks a faculty fellow to work closely with the Associate Dean for Research during the academic year 2026-27 (August 2026 to August 2027) to support faculty development, mentoring, and promotion for the College of Humanities and Sciences.
The faculty fellow will work closely with the AD for Research and other members of the dean’s office on revising key research/scholarship policies, implementing CHS internal funding, and strategic planning in alignment with VCU’s Research Strategic Priorities Plan (SRPP) initiatives and the recently developed 16 research clusters. Additionally, this fellow will help facilitate collaborations aimed at training or center-level grants
Eligibility: Tenured at the associate professor or professor rank.
Successful candidates must be research-active and have an understanding of multiple aspects of research and scholarship. Experience with grants and/or publication process is preferred. The faculty fellow will receive a teaching reduction each semester as well as a $4,000 summer stipend.
