Duties & Responsibilities: The Clerkship Coordinator manages the administrative operations of the Emergency Medicine Clerkship. This position works in close collaboration with the Clerkship Director(s), Department Chair, Vice Chair for Education, Clinical Curriculum Manager, and School of Medicine leadership to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all medical students.
The Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between students, faculty, residents, departmental administration, and clinical sites, ensuring effective communication, seamless program operations, and compliance with institutional policies and LCME accreditation standards. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and solve problems in a fast-paced academic medical environment.
