The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a one- or two-year Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroimmunology fellowship. The incumbent will receive comprehensive training in the care and management of MS and MS-related disorders by a team of MS-specialized health care professionals at a National MS Society certified mutli-disciplinary MS clinic. Beyond clinical training, fellows will have the opportunity to participate in MS therapeutic trials and other MS-related clinical research as well as engage in formal and informal didactic activities. Over the course of the fellowship, the selected candidate will be provided with teaching opportunities that are appropriate for their level of training. This tenure-ineligible Instructor position provides an opportunity to train at one of the premier academic communities in the country.
Qualified applicants must have MD or equivalent, and completed an ACGME accredited residency program in Neurology prior to the start of fellowship.
The anticipated start date of the MS Fellowship is July 1, 2024.
