The qualified candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as the position involves interaction with patients, physicians, researchers, and clinical staff. The incumbent will perform independently and as part of a team, demonstrating the ability to prioritize competing tasks and take initiative. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. The CRC, Licensed will perform a full range of clinical research duties and have a working knowledge of the clinical research process and the regulations that govern it.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary focus of the work includes but is not limited to the following:
Assists in preparing and maintenance of grant applications and protocol submissions (for e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office).
Obtains informed consent under minimal supervision of the investigator(s) and educates participants regarding study requirements.
Accurately collects and records study data according to research protocols. Inputs all information into database/electronic data collection system and interacts with the sponsor directly.
Assists in the activities related to clinical research studies including but not limited to: answering phone calls, screening participants for eligibility, scheduling participant visits, registering subjects with sponsoring agency and internal systems, and administering questionnaires.
Maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with local and federal guidelines.
Ensures accurate and complete compilation of subject data through chart reviews.
Promotes and maintains quality and integrity of all research activities.
Assists with processing and shipping samples for research studies.
Education: Associate’s Degree Required; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Nursing Diploma may substitute for Associate’s Degree for Licensed Registered Nurse. Experience: At least one year of clinical research experience. Licensure: Licensed to Practice in Clinical Profession such as (but not limited to): Registered Nurse, Athletic Training, Pharmacology, Medical Technology, Physical Therapy or Registered Respiratory Therapy.
Education: Associate’s Degree Required; Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Preferred. Nursing Diploma may substitute for Associate’s Degree for Licensed Registered Nurse. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical research experience required. Master’s or advanced degree may substitute for 1 year of clinical research experience. Licensure: Licensed to Practice in Clinical Profession such as (but not limited to): Registered Nurse, Athletic Training, Pharmacology, Medical Technology, Physical Therapy or Registered Respiratory Therapy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. There is a potential for this role to offer a hybrid/flexible remote schedule, under the auspices of a departmental approved teleworking policy. It is anticipated that while learning and training all work will be onsite.
