Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), Physician’s Assistant (PA), Paramedic or exceptionally qualified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Phlebotomist to assist with research activities of multiple faculty investigators at Virginia Tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for venipuncture, venous catheter placement, blood sampling and processing, as well as assisting staff with participant screening, recruitment, scheduling, and protocol execution on an as needed basis.
Required Qualifications
R.N. (active license in the State of Virginia) or other qualified licensed medical professional (NP, MD, DO, PA, Paramedic, EMT, Phlebotomist); with significant relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Flexibility in assuming responsibilities; clinical research experience, oncology, emergency room, or intensive care unit experience. Advance Cardiac Life Support certification (active or eligible).
