This position assists with managing all incoming calls to the UPG corporate phone line, provides support in daily claim and edit processing, retrieves documentation from the electronic medical record as needed and ensures registration information is correct for third party processing.
Assist with answering and forwarding all incoming calls to appropriate extensions.
Work with telephone technician to resolve any telephone console issues.
Assist with giving access to the building via an air phone.
Completes all labels for Insurance Analysts in addition to any insurance claims larger than ten pages.
Assist with the sorting, distribution and attachment of paper claims.
Search, retrieve and attach appropriate medical documents to electronic claims via EMR as needed.
Maintain supply inventory: toners, envelopes, and claim forms.
Responsible for keeping printers full and notifying Unit Coordinator or Supervisor of any issues.
Process invoices which are assigned to the WV Medicaid WQ.
Responsible for printing and mailing Refund‘s outgoing correspondence.
Review incoming faxes and distribute to the appropriate units.
Operate a multi-line phone system.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $19.39 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 1 year of general office experience Licensure: None Skills: Knowledge of and experience utilizing a personal computer.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
