Job Duties
The Virginia IT Agency is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the day to day operations and lifecycle management of services and solutions in Business Automation including Low Code Platforms and the Microsoft Power Platform Suite. This position will manage teams that provides secure, cost-effective and innovative solutions to Virginia Government entities. The successful candidate will require people leadership experience with an understanding of service management, license subscription models, chargeback scenarios, and remain abreast of evolving technologies and capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with managing IT solution and service offerings.
Experience managing and motivating high performing technical staff.
Experience managing multiple vendors and the related contracts and SOWs.
Experience managing solution development and delivery.
Experience solving business problems with Information Technology.
Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms.
Experience with or managing Microsoft M365, Azur.
College degree or equal experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating statements of work to be executed by vendors.
Experience with licensing models and customer chargeback.
Hands on Technical Project Management experience.
Experience managing to IT standards such as SEC501, SEC525, NIST, etc
Experience working in or with State or other government entities
