Job Summary/Basic Functions

Responsibilities include receiving and answering basic financial aid-related questions for incoming customers via telephone, e-mail, and front desk reception; intelligently explaining to customers basic information about Federal Student Aid programs and processes; providing excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality of students’ records appropriate to FERPA regulations; working closely with the Student Aid Coordinator to ensure efficient document flow; notifying students when incoming forms are incomplete; assisting the Financial Aid staff with projects and tasks as assigned.
