Job Duties

Supervises the activities of inmates in the preparation and serving of meals for staff and inmates. Trains inmates in sanitation and all kitchen policies and procedures. Maintains standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality in a cost-efficient manner.

Nineteen positions will be filled from this advertisement.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a food service environment. Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to monitor and supervise the work of others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer experience working in a large volume food preparation environment. Previous experience working in a supervisory role. Serv-Safe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cost controls and operating and repairing food service equipment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
