Health Unit Coordinator - 5 Central - Medical-Surgical Acute Care/Post-Operative (Full-Time - Rotating Shift - SIGN-ON BONUS)

Become part of UVA’s Division of Acute Care & Trauma Surgery, providing advanced patient care services for traumatic injury, emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and elective general surgery.

• Maintains the medical record in good form.
• Communicates effectively using established systems/protocols.
• Communicates effectively with ancillary departments.
• Maintains unit supplies/forms appropriately.
• Assumes responsibility for professional development of self and contributes to and assists with the professional development of others.
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
  

Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $21.16 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Experience: No experience required.

Licensure: None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull
