Job Description: This is an essential position. Employee follows established guidelines, policies, and procedures while working in one or more program areas performing responsible administrative and technical work in support of agency clients. Prepares and mails correspondence. Serves as a backup to switchboard/reception staff. Employee is the initial point of contact for clients seeking services. Prepares periodic, special, and other reports. Provides emergency shelter duty in times of emergencies or natural disasters.
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Considerable knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service; administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, spreadsheets, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. Skill in: operating a variety of automated office equipment to include calculator, fax/copier; and the use of computer-driven word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and file maintenance programs. Ability to: communicate effectively; plan, organize, and prioritize own work schedule; establish and maintain working relationships with clients, professionals, and employees; create forms, charts, and graphs.
Qualifications - Education, Experience, Licensure, and Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
