Puller Veterans Care Center is looking for highly motivated, experienced healthcare professionals to join our team! Our Center vision and mission is to provide the best nursing care, rehabilitation, and life experience for Virginia's Veteran residents while accomplishing excellence in all areas of our center's operations. The Infection Control Preventionist plans, directs, organizes, implements, evaluates, and coordinates the Infection Prevention and Control and Antibiotic Stewardship programs in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern such requirements in the facility.

Operates as the facility Employee Health Nurse and resident immunization nurse

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

Must hold current State of Virginia RN license

Current BLS Certification

Current Infection Preventionist certification, or willing to obtain certification within 2 years of employment

Additional Considerations

1-3 Years of geriatric skilled nursing/long-term care experience a plus
