The University of Virginia, McIntire Department of Music seeks applications for the position of Instructor of Saxophone. This position will involve providing private lessons to students and participation in departmental performances and other events as mutually agreed upon in consultation with other faculty.
Qualifications for this position are a graduate degree in music OR a bachelor's degree and commensurate experience as a performer and teacher of saxophone. Preference will be given to candidates focusing on Jazz music, and to candidates with experience leading an ensemble.
