The College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (A&S) seeks applicants for an IT Process Improvement Lead (Business Systems Analyst 3) to manage technical process improvement initiatives across the A&S enterprise. Reporting directly to the Director of Analytics and IT Support, this position will collaborate closely with team members across the Dean’s Office and departments to better understand and address process inefficiencies. To enable improvements, this position will work directly with our software development and analytics teams to help prioritize and track progress on projects across our IT portfolio. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related discipline Experience: At least three years of experience. 7 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Licensure: None
Preferred:
Experience in Lean Process Improvement, Six Sigma, Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, PMI-ACP, etc)
Experience managing agile software projects in tools such as Azure Devops, Jira or other task tracking software
Ability to create and maintain project documentation in tools such as Confluence, Smartsheet, SharePoint and Office365
Candidate must have excellent communication skills and a proven customer service mindset
Candidate must have successfully managed process improvement/project management activities in a professional setting
Candidate must demonstrate a commitment to professional development and a learning mindset

Job Duties
Process Improvement
Organize sessions with stakeholder groups across Arts and Sciences and the University to identify, document and prioritize process improvement initiatives
Implement change management processes and oversee change management activities
Project Management
Develop and manage key project artifacts (Project Charter, User Stories, Business Process Diagrams, KPIs, etc)
Work with developers to document, estimate and track implementation progress
Facilitate capacity discussions, prioritization and timely completion of use cases across the Dean’s Office Administrative areas
System Configuration
Assist with configuration tasks in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Lists and Smartsheet.com
Design, develop and maintain security architecture for data access and business process flows
