Job Description
The Lead Administrative Manager will support the Assistant Dean for Administration in the Pamplin College of Business who is responsible for finance, human resources, employee engagement, information technology, facilities/capital projects, contract review and approval, endowment management, and operations. This role will coordinate and manage executive scheduling, prepare, and organize important and high impact materials and documents to ensure that the dean is prepared and very well organized. This role serves as the eyes and ears of the dean, connecting others, projects, and critical business information for the assistant dean, ensuring meetings and materials are efficient and effective, works on special projects, and serves as a trusted partner to deliver against the administrative priorities of the college. The dynamic nature of this role requires that the ideal candidate have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate the needs of the assistant dean. The role must interact seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including members of the senior management team, college employees, alumni, and external stakeholders. The individual in this role will be expected to handle highly sensitive and confidential financial, legal, personnel and other institutional information while exercising professionalism and discretion.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent level of training and or work experience; experience in supporting a senior executive or team in a high pace, progressive college or company; exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills and excellent communication skills; detail oriented; master understanding of frequently used computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Office; demonstrated time-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to multitask.

Composition, proofreading and editing experience; project management certification or experience.
