Pharmacist ensures the safe effective and financially responsible use of medications by providing optimal drug product selection dosage regimen design effective administration and drug therapy monitoring services in the Medical Center.
The anticipated schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, with some rotation for weekends and holidays. Comp days are available during the week where a weekend shift is required. Final shift assignments are made at the discretion and approval of the hiring manager.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D required
- Experience: No experience required
- Licensure/Certifications: Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: PharmD
- Experience: 2 Years of experience in retail pharmacy settings
- Licensure/Certifications: Licensure/Certifications: Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Compensation - The pay rate for this role starts at $64.37 per hour New hire compensation will be determined by education and experience.
Onboarding RequirementsBackground checks and pre-employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety-sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a
drug screen.Position Compensation Range: $59.08 - $94.53 Hourly
