Lecturer, Electrical and Computer Engineering (Faculty Wage)

This job profile is only for faculty members hired to complete a short-term and/or part-time academic work assignment, such as teaching one or more courses for one or two academic terms.

The University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks qualified candidates to teach the Applied Circuits undergraduate course in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This position will be filled on an as-needed basis according to curriculum needs and the appointment is typically for teaching a single course. This is an at-will faculty wage position that does not carry benefits.

Candidates must have experience with a PCB design software such as KiCAD or Ultiboard. An advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in electrical, computer engineering, or related field is preferred. Prior experience in teaching at the college or university level is preferred.
