Unit Paid Faculty teach additional courses on an as needed basis
The Department of History at the University of Virginia seeks applications to fill a non-tenure track Lecturer position during the 2020-2021 academic year. Subject areas of particular need include American Religious History and the history of the Christian Right. Compensation will take the form of wages.
A Ph.D. in history from the University of a Virginia is preferred. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
