The Corporate Support Manager is responsible for maximizing the stations’ corporate support team revenues. This is achieved by implementation of systems and overall market strategy, the sales manager’s own direct sales and the overall support and management of the underwriting team.
Specific duties include: Manages department to meet or exceed monthly targets for revenue; Update and implement sales management systems consistently; Set and follow the procedures for setting individual salesperson and station budget goals; develop and employ a digital strategy for multi-platform recognition for underwriters; help the Corporate Support team to find and nurture new revenue streams and underwriters as well as actively soliciting for corporate support all the while consistently and strictly adhering to all station and official regulations and standards for non-commercial support recognition.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with practical experience - Experience in media and or broadcast sales - Working knowledge of target market areas including decision makers, events and key accounts - Demonstrated experience of communication skills and detail orientation
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with public broadcasting approach to underwriting support - Demonstrated experience with public broadcasting - Demonstrated media sales management experience
