Marketing Manager, UVA Bookstore

The UVA Bookstore at the University of Virginia is currently accepting applications for a Marketing Manager. Seeking an experienced, creative individual with strong Omni-Channel experience which includes retail ecommerce, digital marketing expertise, graphic design experience, brick and mortar and a deep understanding of content marketing and social media outlets.

The incumbent must be able to successfully coordinate digital marketing efforts geared towards growing both ecommerce and in store business, increase customer engagement, promote products, and optimize the online experience. Understanding of best use of SEO tools, search optimization and performance responsiveness is essential. The individual must be willing to execute campaigns independently while providing oversight of the team, and m ust be willing to execute on-site events both in store and around University Grounds.

This is a full-time salaried position and requires occasionally weekends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related work experience
  
• 4+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience
  
• Experience with independent project execution
  
• Experience managing social media channels
  
• Strong graphic design skills
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, in a multi-faceted customer demographic environment is a must
  
• Facility with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Adobe or Google Analytics)
  
• Website and marketing collateral design skills
  

Compensation:

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $65,000 - $72,000annually. This is a full-time position with UVA benefits . Employee benefits package highlights include:
