Job Duties

Provide clerical and administrative support to Coffeewood's Training Dept. Maintains filing systems, copies & distributes materials and purges inactive files. Performs keyboarding duties, entering data into forms, documents, and agency data systems. Produces administrative reports and correspondences.

Minimum Qualifications

Good office management skills, demonstrated ability to deal in a professional manner with staff, inmates and visitors. Excellent computer skills, with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Demonstrated ability to type accurately, type reports and develop and use data tables. Demonstrated knowledge of file management; Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; demonstrated ability to interact with others in an effective manner.

Additional Considerations

Courses in office administration/ secretarial science or certification in office administration or equivalent training or experience in a related field. Prefer administrative experience in a criminal justice, court, or law office setting. Experience in office management.

Marijuana use is prohibited for positions that require possession of a firearm or a Commercial Driver’s License in the performance of official duties such as Corrections Officers, Probation Officers, Tractor Trailer Drivers and others.
