Job Description
The Department of Chemistry at Virginia Tech invites applications for 2 open rank tenure-track faculty positions (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) in organic chemistry, broadly defined, with expertise in synthetic methodology, medicinal chemistry, and/or catalysis, with an intended start date of Fall 2023.
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field is required; the degree is required at the time of appointment. The successful candidate must establish an internationally recognized research program and be an effective teacher in graduate and undergraduate courses. Position will require occasional travel to attend conference and meetings. We welcome applications from diverse, underrepresented candidates.
