Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Reynolds is committed to hiring and retaining a racially diverse, culturally competent staff at all levels of the organization who reflect the demographics of our students. We also believe in providing an ongoing investment in our faculty and staff to deepen their skills and competencies to serve the full range of our student population.
Reynolds Community College is proud to be the greater Richmond areas only ABA approved 2 year paralegal degree program. Our people are the most important asset in our pursuit of achieving excellence in education and community service.
The paralegal program delivers two program tracks (general and litigation). As a diverse community that values inclusivity and collaboration, we foster a respectful, supportive workplace where innovation comes to life. By looking ahead and experimenting with new approaches, we’re creating new educational opportunities to help people thrive in a legal world of change.
Reynolds Community College has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time instructor for the Paralegal Studies program. Instructors serve a key role in engaging with students, serving as subject matter experts, presenting learning content, and assessing whether learners have achieved course competencies. Reynolds paralegal students consistently say that the instructor is the single most important element of their course.
We are expanding our instructor pool for all program courses and are currently accepting applications on an ongoing basis. Classes are offered in various modalities in the evenings, 6:30-8:00 PM, during Fall, Spring and Summer semesters via Zoom. The time commitment is three hours of weekly instruction in addition to a required 1 hour of office time with weekly lesson preparation, student interaction, and grading outside of class time.
