Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia - principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Our scenic campus is located in Albemarle County, Virginia. We are one of 23 community colleges in Virginia that comprise the Virginia Community College System (VCCS).
Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a public, comprehensive community college. *If you are interested in a unique challenge, PVCC will expand credit course offerings in Psychology for incarcerated students at Fluvanna Correctional Center, Buckingham Correctional Center, and Dillwyn Correctional Center.*
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching.
Ph.D. in Psychology
