Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide OCIR Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy Aide I is responsible for providing limited clinical support to clinicians in a physical therapy/occupational therapy office. These duties may include: assisting providers and other staff, maintaining clean and safe clinic environment, assisting with patient transfers/guarding, inventory and stocking supplies.

Clinical:
• Prepare patients to see provider(s).
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies for the practice.
• Clean and stock supplies
• Occasional back up to the front desk.
• Cleaning and upkeep of equipment and supplies
• Assist clinicians with patient transfers/guarding
• Other duties as assigned

Professional Development:
• Seeks professional growth opportunities that enhance professional practice thorough both formal and informal activities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED.


Experience:
  • Previous clinical office experience preferred.


Licensure:
  • None


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Busy and fast paced outpatient clinical environment. Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
