The fellow will be given protected time to work on and lead publication efforts.

The recruited fellow will have the opportunity to work closely with Institute faculty on key Clark-Hill Institute (CHI) initiatives including: (a) grant writing opportunities to benefit and expand the CHI, (b) interdisciplinary research collaborations across faculty research teams, and (c) mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students. As part of the postdoc opportunity, the recruited fellow will have opportunities to work on federally funded school- and community-based studies focused on (1) development and evaluation of pragmatic measures to support the implementation of evidence-based programs in schools, (2) development and implementation of a community-level youth violence prevention initiative that includes participatory action research strategies for youth and adults, an Emerging Leaders hospital-based intervention, and several stakeholder education strategies, (3) development, evaluation, and implementation of interventions to improve the academic and behavioral outcomes of children with and at-risk for emotional/behavioral disorders, and (4) on-going and new studies focused on young Latine, Black, and Multiracial children’s ethnic-racial identity, socialization, cultural experiences and outcomes.

Appointments will be made for one year, with a second year re-appointment expected based on a review of progress. Future renewal is contingent on continuation of grant funding and/or performance. The fellowship will be available June 1, 2023, although a later start date is possible.

Interested applicants should submit (1) a letter of interest describing qualifications and experience; (2) curriculum vitae; (3) two examples of scholarly writing; and (4) names/contact information for at least three references.

Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Clinical, Community, Developmental, School, or Educational Psychology or a related discipline from an accredited academic program.
