Position Responsibilities:
We are searching for a Postdoctoral Fellow to collaborate with an interdisciplinary (Clinical Psychology; Special Education; Developmental Psychology) research team that is conducting implementation research. Primary responsibilities for this position will be associated with projects funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) and National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The first study is focused on the development of a pragmatic treatment fidelity measure, and the second study is a multisite study of the predictors of sustainment of evidence-based programs in elementary school settings in Virginia and Florida. The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate with a group of experienced researchers within the Clinical Psychology program and School of Education at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and the Clark-Hill Institute for Positive Youth Development at VCU (https://clarkhill.vcu.edu/).
Primary responsibilities for the position include collaborating (with opportunities to lead) on research papers as well as grant applications to support their own program of research. This position is well suited for an individual who is interested in implementation science and practice, prevention and intervention research, social-emotional learning, and research in community-based settings.
This full-time, 12-month, Postdoctoral Fellow position will begin July 1, 2022. The opening is for a one-year fellowship with the possibility of renewal. The individual hired will work directly with a team of principal investigators at VCU to manage data, train and supervise staff, and support school-based research partners. This individual will also have dedicated time to support collaborations with project investigators, members of the Clark-Hill Institute, and graduate students on research papers, conference presentations, and grant applications.
Candidates should submit their CV, a cover letter, and the names/contact information for at least three references.
