Dabney S. Lancaster Community College (DSLCC) is a two-year public institution of higher education and one of 23 community colleges in Virginia. Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semester terms to perform clinical teaching and evaluation with the Practical Nursing students in the following clinical practices: Med Surgical and Health Assessment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in Virginia. ADN required. A minimum of two years’ full-time work experience in the field.
Effective written and oral communication skills; Excellent organizational skills; Flexibility and ability to prioritize and work independently; Critical thinking and clinical judgement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Nursing from an accredited institution.
