Candidates must contribute to theoretical conversations and arguments through peer-reviewed articles, scholarly monographs, and invited talks and lectures. Successful candidates will have a record of procuring substantial external grants, teaching excellence, graduate student mentoring, and innovative institutional leadership. Responsibilities include teaching Introduction to Medical Anthropology, expanding our medical anthropology offerings for undergraduates, and taking a leading role in building graduate programs in medical anthropology in and beyond the department.

We are particularly interested in candidates with proven dedication to community-based collaborative research, public-facing scholarship, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
