Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the Assistant Vice Presidents for Infrastructure and Facilities Operations, the Project Coordinator supports the administrative and project needs of the Infrastructure and Facilities Operations teams. This individual will work independently to perform a wide variety of duties to assist the Chief of Staff and has extensive interaction with divisional staff and university-wide stakeholders. The Project Coordinator is responsible for project and initiative tracking, research, analysis, development, and updating of documents, guidelines, policies, and procedures related to work being performed by Infrastructure and Facilities Operations, and other assorted duties. This position is also responsible for supporting general office functions, internal committees, and work-groups that the Chief of Staff supports. This position assists the teams in preparing a wide range of written and graphic presentation materials (PowerPoint) to be used in engagement with internal teams as well as to the university community.
Required Qualifications
• BA/BS in public administration, business, communications or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
• Demonstrated progressively responsible administrative, analytical, and reporting work in support of a highly complex organization.
• Experience in a fast-paced office environment that requires a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively within a diverse community.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other related design and database software, and ability to prepare and present clear and concise information.
• Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a university setting.
• Demonstrated experience preparing verbal presentations to Senior Executives, Boards, and/or Committees.
