Participates in a variety of patient care and non-patient care duties involved in the planning and administration of radiation therapy to patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fabricates treatment aids and immobilization devices and performs simulation/AcQsim procedures.
Collects, analyzes and interprets data and performs quality checks.
Performs radiation treatment delivery.
Instructs students.
Ensures patient and employee safety and communicates effectively.
Participates in educational activities and staff meetings and ensures certification.
Position Compensation Range: $29.54 - $47.26 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
Experience: No experience required
Licensure: Certified to practice in Radiation Therapy by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
