The University of Virginia's Department of Human Resources is seeking a Recruiter for the Health System. The role exercises significant independence and autonomy, collaborating with senior HR leadership on areas of greater complexity. Experience needed in high volume position recruitment (especially IT and Social Work), the ability to create and implement recruitment plans, and passive candidate sourcing via multiple venues/platforms. Documented healthcare recruitment experience to include sourcing, interviewing and recommending external and internal candidates for various levels of support, professional and management-level positions is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Recruiting for high volume/hard to recruit positions;
  • Sourcing candidates using a variety of tools including ATS and social media;
  • Implementing and creating recruitment plans;
  • Keeping accurate and concise records concerning all phases of the recruitment process;
  • Recruiting via virtual events, colleges, technical schools and job fairs; and
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.


Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: One year of relevant work experience.

Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. This role does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and/or programs. Regular i n-person attendance at meetings and events on grounds in Charlottesville is also expected.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree.

Experience: T wo years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with one year of relevant experience. Experience using Workday or other ATS, and recruiting for IT and Social Work positions highly preferred.

This position is located in Charlottesville, VA, and provides an option to work in a remote or hybrid environment following the University's flex-work guidelines, with regular i n-person attendance at meetings and events on grounds in Charlottesville also expected. Anticipated salary iscommensurate with qualifications and experience.
