Job Duties

To enhance the quality of life in the Commonwealth by improving public safety. We will accomplish this through reintegration of sentenced men and women in our custody and care by providing supervision and control, effective programs and re-entry services in safe environments which foster positive change and growth consistent with research-based evidence, fiscal responsibility and constitutional standards.

This position oversees regional activities within a designated functional area for the Department of Corrections, reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Institutions. As the supervisor and liaison for specific regional operations, the role ensures effective management, administration, and operation of functions within the institutions. Additionally, the position is responsible for managing re-entry and evidence-based practice (EBP) initiatives, ensuring the successful achievement of all operational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Working knowledge of modern corrections methods, policies, and practices in correctional institutions. Position requires an understanding of the practical application of EBP, Re-entry, and other strategic corrections initiatives. Demonstrated excellence in management and leadership skills application with a focus on results orientation and communication skills. Budget and administration knowledge and management experience directed at achieving operational objectives.
