The University of Virginia’s Center forLeadingEdge Addiction Research (CLEAR) team seeks applicants for a Post-doctoral Research Associate. The purpose of the Postdoctoral Research Associate appointment is to provide training in preparation for an academic or research-related career. The Research Associate will be significantly involved in assisting the principal investigator in acting as the lead in a new multi-year human research project. The incumbent will work with all members of the research staff assisting in managing all aspects of the project. This includes IRB compliance and protocol submission, regulatory management, staffing coordination, participant recruiting, consenting, and data management as well as final data analysis assistance and regular program reporting. The incumbent may also assist with writing and reviewing abstracts and manuscripts based on the data analysis. Theidealcandidate will be able to workindependentlyand perform assignments of their own initiative and with a minimum of direction. Theincumbentshould have a positive attitude as well as enjoycontributingsignificantly to the research team goals.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a terminal degree by the start date of the position.
Applicants with one or more years of research experience in an applicable area are strongly encouraged to apply.
