The Lamouille lab is seeking a Research Associate to perform laboratory operations and conduct research experiments together with other lab members. Dr. Lamouille’s research group focuses on understanding how deregulation of cancer cell communication and differentiation within the tumor microenvironment can lead to tumor progression and resistance to therapies. Employing cancer mouse models combined with genetic, molecular, and biochemical techniques, the Lamouille lab is developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting cellular communication and metastases in human cancer progression. Responsibilities include knowledge of and experience with general cell and molecular laboratory techniques, animal handling (specifically mice), in vivo injections of tumor cells and drugs, and colony maintenance. Other duties will include basic laboratory management, including supply ordering, maintaining and preparing lab reagents, tracking laboratory expenses, and maintaining laboratory certifications and licenses. This is a 1-year position with the possibility to extend.
• Bachelor's degree in Biology or BS in Biology with significant professional experience and equitable laboratory experience.

• Extensive cell culture expertise.
