Revenue Cycle Cash Specialist - PFS Operations

Responsible for accurately performing the necessary accounting/posting and record maintenance duties for patient and third party payments received by the Medical Center. The execution of the duties requires the ability to perform both routine and complex interpretive and analytical tasks.

• Abstracts interprets classifies posts and balances transactions to patient accounts based on information provided by health insurance and patient’s payments.
• Reviews researches and resolves patient account payments with incomplete information.
• Performs a variety of data entry and balancing transactions in a multi-system environment requiring knowledge of several system-unique processes.
• Prepares various ancillary accounting reports as required.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of documents substantiating posted payments.
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
  

Position Compensation Range: $16.64 - $25.79 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Experience: 1 year relevant experience.

Licensure: None required.
