Job Duties
•Coaches Agile Principles & Practices, and supports Scrum Masters and Kanban Leads.
•Helps manage impediments.
•Guides process changes to reduce dependencies.
Monitors and improves team health and happiness.
•Guides team self-organization & autonomy around the workplace.
•Promotes a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
•Product backlog is managed and stakeholders are engaged.
•Analysis of reported issues to determine resolution.
•Planning and managing execution of UAT.
•Interacts frequently with senior management, demonstrating influence and negotiation skills as well as the ability to ensure appropriate use of metrics.
•Collaborates with internal and external subject matter experts, system users, and stakeholders to understand and document existing and proposed business processes, requirements, and system needs.
•Closely partners with stakeholders throughout the process to ensure ongoing alignment and participation throughout the agile process.
•Effectively facilitates solutioning and requirements gathering sessions with individuals and large groups.
•Produces effective documentation to capture and communicate business processes and requirements in the format of business process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, and user experience flows.
•Works within an agile environment performing refinement work to craft effective user stories, and then partnering with the team during delivery of the stories to ensure stories are accurately implemented.
•Good working knowledge of business areas is developed and used to provide effective support for business initiatives.
•Reviews test scenarios and assists with UAT activities.
•Ensures knowledge of current analysis tools and practices.
•Ensures knowledge of current project management tools and practices.
•Ensures knowledge of current Agile tools and practices is attained.
•Shares knowledge attained with other team members.
•User training and documentation is thorough, easily understood, and completed in a timely manner.
•Status reports and project status review meetings should provide management with a clear understanding of activities such as status of schedules, problems, issues, and resolutions or recommendations.
•Applications are effectively monitored.
•Corrective measures are implemented.
•Problems issues are resolved timely and accurately.
•Applications efficiencies are achieved.
•Help desk tickets are monitored daily and are resolved expeditiously.
•Program and program modifications are completed timely and accurately.
•Supervisor and stakeholders are kept advised of issues and resolutions.
• Maintains safe and clean work area and unsafe conditions are addressed and corrected.
•May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
•May be required to assist the Department or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Minimum Qualifications
•Considerable knowledge of systems analysis, design techniques, and project management concepts in all phases of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
•Considerable experience as a Scrum Master and supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
•Experience with coaching and leading Agile development teams as a Servant-Leader.
•Significant experience dealing with IT system users and various IT teams.
•Demonstrated ability to successfully interact in a team environment; and effectively communicate both orally and in writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with oversight of vendor-based system implementations and support highly preferred.
•Experience with SQL highly preferred.
•Experience with ERP Solutions preferred.
•Experience in Oracle preferred.
