We are hiring a Senior Investment Analyst who will research and analyze asset allocation and strategies in support of the overall Agency policy and goals for investments. Job Duties
In this position, you will:
• Build models, conduct market research to identify and evaluate investment opportunities across various asset classes; make recommendations to team and Investment Director
• Conduct ongoing and extensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence on existing and new managers including preparing reports, investment memos, and documentation
• With the team, prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis around asset allocation, risk budgeting, scenario analysis, and attribution
• Assist with preparing presentations and reports for the Investment Advisory Committee including asset liability studies, manager recommendations, and portfolio analytics
• Update and maintain internal investment research databases, manager dashboards, and pipeline databases
• Support the investment team in entire due diligence and performance monitoring processes
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or related field
• At least ten years’ experience in investment management, finance or related field
• Investment research experience across various asset classes
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively, both orally and in writing
• Experience with data analytics and risk modeling
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investment managers, consultants, and any other external providers
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree, CFA or CAIA certification preferred
