Clinical lead of the operations or student body for Interventional Radiology. Orchestrate daily staff assignments and student clinical rotations. Assist with the evaluation of staff and students. Schedule staff hours worked on-call and student classes. Work with the charge nurse to provide the most efficient and effective work flow. Work with the student clinical coordinator to ensure the most effective instruction and valuable clinical exposure
Supervises technical staff and students assigned to unit in areas of patient assignment film quality and work schedule.
Inspects and maintains equipment.
Instructs students in the classroom and in the clinical area.
Functions as a floor manager and coordinates patient flow.
Develops and implements quality assurance procedures and maintains manuals.
Maintains inventory and manages supplies and resources.
Assists in the overall supervision of the technical staff.
Ensures record keeping and documentation is maintained as required.
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $33.27 - $53.23 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography required. Associate's Degree in Radiography preferred. Must be eligible for ARRT (VI) certification. Experience: 2 years relevant experience Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required. ARRT (VI) certification required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to radiation.
